WELCOME - to the Kincumber Colts, the Central Coast's most Successful Junior Rugby League club in 1998, 1999,2001,2002,2003, 2004, 2005 and 2011

Welcome to the 2012 season. This year is a very special year for all players, parents, coaches and helpers, both past and present. 2012 marks the 30 year anniversary of the Mighty Colts. We have a massive year planned with a special “Seniors-Juniors” weekend, a day/night round, an anniversary ball and an old boys weekend. Of course we will still be having our Supporters Night in June and our Trivia Night . We hope all our members, parents & supporters will be involved in some of these activities to celebrate the best club on the coast.

While 2011 was one of the best years in the history of this great club, culminating with Kincumber JRLFC winning the prestigious “ Most Successful Club” award, we are not prepared to rest. The committee has been hard at work over the summer thinking up ways we can improve our club. One of those ideas is to light up the top fields for training. We will initially be using temporary lighting and evaluating this for this season. We have also come up with some ideas to ease the burden on the volunteers within the club that will be implemented throughout the season.

Lastly, I wish to speak directly to the players. On the back of great success comes many challenges. One of those challenges will be the regarding of a number ( at this stage 7 teams) into higher divisions. The club has no control over this but we will fight for our sides to be in the correct divisions. These regradings mean we will have two first division teams in 3 different age groups and a number of other teams going up divisions. The club, with the help of the coaches of these sides, have developed a strategy to minimize the effects on the teams involved. But the attitude of the players will determine the success of those teams going up. There will be hard times but with a positive attitude there will also be plenty of good times. I know the coaches will work extremely hard to keep all teams enjoying the greatest game of all!
